High Roller

A poker set and playing card brand in confident red and table green, anchored by a rounded sparkle mark that holds from a card back to a hoodie.

01

The Challenge

A poker set is a physical object that lives on a table, in a case and in photographs. The mark has to survive being foil-stamped on packaging, printed at card-back scale and embroidered on merchandise — three reproduction methods, none of them forgiving of detail.

The category also carries a heavy cliché: gold, filigree, playing-card red. Leaning on it is easy, and instantly forgettable.

02

The Approach

The mark is a rounded square holding a four-point sparkle. Simple enough to reproduce at card-back scale, distinctive enough to stand alone as an icon without the name beside it.

Colour breaks with the category. A hot red against deep table green, borrowed from the felt rather than from casino decor, gives high contrast in low light and reads contemporary instead of nostalgic.

03

The System

The same rules run from the product itself through packaging, merchandise and photography. Because the mark is built from simple geometry, it flattens to a single colour for card backs and scales up for display without being redrawn.
