A poker set and playing card brand in red and table green, built on a rounded sparkle mark that works from a card back to a hoodie.
The Challenge
A poker set is a physical object that lives on a table, in a case and in photographs. The mark has to work foil-stamped on packaging, printed at card-back size and embroidered on merchandise. None of those methods handles fine detail.
The category leans on gold, filigree and playing-card red. It is easy to copy and easy to forget.
The Approach
The mark is a rounded square holding a four-point sparkle. It is simple enough to print at card-back size and distinctive enough to stand alone as an icon.
The colours break from the category: a hot red against deep table green, borrowed from the felt of a card table. It has strong contrast in low light and looks contemporary.
The System
The same rules run across the product, packaging, merchandise and photography. Because the mark is built from simple geometry, it flattens to one colour for card backs and scales up for display without being redrawn.
